
Let's face it, most of us aren't getting enough greens throughout the day. According to the USDA, men and women need 2-4 cups of veggies every day, and children need about 1-4 cups, depending on age.

My quest for better nutrition lead me to research the most efficient way to get all of my greens in without eating them at every single meal. The meal I have the hardest time squeezing greens into is breakfast, mainly because greens don't sound good to me in the morning! I'm more of an eggs and toast person, and sometimes I skip breakfast altogether to do fasted cardio.
One of the best products I've found is Barlean's Greens. They have three different flavors, but I prefer Chocolate Silk because it tastes great in my coffee! Although there is only 1g of sugar per scoop, it adds just the right amount of sweetness. I also like to add a splash of almond milk, but if you're more into black coffee, it would taste great either way.

***Side note for my fellow moms out there - The other thing I love about this supplement is that it makes it easy to sneak a scoop into my kids' hot cocoa without them ever knowing their drinking veggies;)
