Getting and staying motivated is one of the hardest parts of being consistent with any fitness regimen. Here are a few things that help me when my energy just isnt there.

1. 10 Minute Cardio Warm Up

Warming up is really important. Not only does it prevent injury, but it also gets your heart pumping and increases your energy. I can't count how many times I have felt completely unmotivated until I did 10 minutes on the spin bike or treadmill.

2. Coffee & Tea

Early in the morning or after a long day of work it's normal to feel tired and sometimes even downright lethargic. Since these are the only times you may have for a workout, it can help to drink a cup of coffee or tea. Coffee and tea also aid in weight loss by curbing your appetite and for people who can't handle pre-workout drinks,

3. Pre-Workout Drinks

I have to be honest. I am SUPER picky about pre-workout drinks. I have only found a few that I don't mind the taste of. Most resemble the flavor of children's cough syrup. GROSS! The drinks I think have a decent flavor are Bang Energy(Birthday Cake & Guava), and Celsius Heat(Fruit Punch). Celcius is nice because it has a thermogenic and I like to sweat as much as possible when I workout to eliminate water retention. My top pick for pre-workout is Evlution Nutrition BCAA & Energy(Blue Razz). It comes in a powder form and I like to fill my shaker cup with ice and then add 4 scoops and fill with water. I try to drink the 1st half by the time I get done with my warm-up. Then I refill the shaker with more water and I keep refilling throughout my workout.
